Dr. Becky Luu

Becky Luu, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Becky Luu has been practicing pediatric eye care in north Texas since 2017. She practiced along Drs. David Stager, Jr and David Stager, Sr as an associate at Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus before starting Little Eyes Pediatric Eye Care in 2024.

She is a residency trained pediatric optometrist. This is an additional year of training where she saw over 1,200 pediatric and strabismic patients at the University of Alabama School of Optometry. She received her O.D. from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Prior to that, she majored in Supply Chain Management at the McCombs Business School at UT Austin (Hook'Em!).

She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO). This is a prestigious designation earned through rigorous peer-reviewed case submissions and a oral exam with other FAAOs. Her commitment to advancing pediatric vision care extends beyond clinical practice; she plays an active role in cutting-edge amblyopia research at the renowned Retina Foundation of the Southwest lab.

Her clinical passions are in treating strabismus in adults and pediatrics and myopia management in children. Her interest in eye care stemmed early in childhood from attending eye exams with her younger brother (now adult brother) who has been in glasses since he was four years old. She saw first hand the profound effect that something as simple as a pair of glasses had on her brother’s learning and development.

She started Little Eyes with the intent to help all children achieve their best through clear vision. Outside of work she enjoys figure skating and spending time with her husband and their toddler daughter, Evelyn. They love to travel and explore new restaurants together as a family.
