Dr. Becky Luu has been practicing pediatric eye care in north Texas since 2017. She practiced with Dr. David Stager, Jr and Dr. David Stager, Sr as an associate at Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus until the summer of 2023 before she started Little Eyes Pediatric Eye Care in 2024.
She is a residency trained pediatric optometrist. She completed additional residency training in pediatrics at the University of Alabama after receiving her O.D. from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Prior to that, she received her undergraduate degree from UT-Austin (Hook’em!). She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. This designation is achieved by case submissions that undergo peer review and an oral exam. She continues to be an active part of the pediatric research community by working with the Retina foundation of Southwest focusing on new development for the treatment of amblyopia.
Her clinical passions are in treating adult and pediatric strabismus and myopia management in children. Her interest in eye care stemmed early in childhood from attending eye exams with her younger brother (now adult brother) who has been in glasses since he was four years old. She saw first hand the profound effect that something as simple as a pair of glasses had on her brother’s learning and development.
She started Little Eyes with the intent to help all children achieve their best through clear vision. Outside of work she enjoys figure skating and spending time with her husband and their toddler daughter, Evelyn. They love to travel and explore new restaurants together as a family.
